I’m not one to deny that…Boudoir…is my baby. I’ve been photographing these AMAZING sessions since 2004. It’s taken a long hard fight for these kind of sessions to be accepted and loved, but it was worth it. Boudoir sessions are now part of nearly every bride-to-be’s to-do list these days.
Because of the nature of these sessions, a lot of people immediately and incorrectly assume they’re pornographic in nature. But as one of my clients said from THIS SESSION FEATURED ON THE NEWS a few years ago, there is a relationship between a man and his wife and it is intimate, but when done correctly, boudoir sessions are never trashy, but ALWAYS classy. They’re typically done as a gift for a lady’s fiance, or husband’s birthday/ anniversary, but the most important aspect of these sessions is that the WOMEN are the ones who get the best gift– an unbelievable boost of confidence. The fact that she can see herself in a new light, realizing she is beautiful the WAY SHE IS, RIGHT that moment, without having to try to “fit” into a “mold”… that’s why I do this.
Understandably, most of my clients don’t wish to post their images on my site (which I completely respect), but any time I do have a client that allows me to, I go a little crazy. Because I finally get to show what I’ve been UP TO and what keep my weeks BOOKED SOLID.
