Versatility | Greenville South Carolina Boudoir and Glamour Photographer

One of the main questions I get asked by clients when they book a boudoir shoot with me is “What should I wear?”

This of course, is not always an easy answer, based on the type of shoot we’re doing.

However, I will say this.

I just wrapped up an amazing boudoir/ fashion/ fantasy session last week and I can’t wait to show you the full set, because this session covered the full scale of wardrobe options for your shoot. From casual and simple to sexy and risqué, to avant-garde and whimsical.

My point is, think outside of the box.

Some things to consider:

  • You do NOT have to spend a fortune on new lingerie at Victoria’s Secret (however, I’m sure I’ve done my fair share of sending them plenty of business).
  • You do NOT have to match every single piece of clothing you wear. I actually prefer mis-matched items. It mixes it up a bit and is more believable.
  • You do NOT have to even wear lingerie! Think a pretty lace cami with a loose chunky cable-knit cardigan that will hang off your shoulders, or even a basic white fitted t-shirt. It’s not about what you wear it’s about HOW you wear it.

This is just a teaser from the shoot, but this is the SAME girl in both images. Just an example of how amazing your images can be if you let go, step out of your comfort zone, and TRUST ME:)

More to come soon!

Fearless Femme Sessions

As I walk around my current home studio and fluff the pillows, check my batteries, and wait on a client to arrive for a boudoir session, I’m excited about the possibilities of this shoot, and the outcome. I’m not necessarily talking about her images, but instead her confidence being *elevated* to a new level.

This is becoming my purpose more and more each day with each new client and each boudoir or glamour session. Which is why I don’t want to limit the opportunity to that stigma.

Additionally, instead of offering boudoir sessions or high school senior sessions exclusively, I wanted tweens and teen girls to have the opportunity to see themselves in a beautiful, positive way.

So I’ve decided to offer Fearless Femme Sessions. The name encompasses everything a young girl or woman should be…young, free, happy, and fearless. I want women to feel empowered, to know that they can do anything they want in life. But in order for them (us) to do that, they (we) must first have the confidence to do so, which comes from a variety of things, but initially with how we feel about ourselves. Hence these portrait sessions…

They’re mainly geared toward tweens and teen girls, because the adolescent age is a very fragile and impressionable one. I want to be able to make every one of my clients feel and look as beautiful as they deserve to be.

This type of session is perfect for any girl, but I believe this would be especially life-changing for those who have possibly been a victim of bullying or has had a particularly difficult time dealing with life’s circumstances, or just needs a revamp of their self-esteem.

More information coming soon, but if you’re interested in booking a session now, feel free to contact me so we can set something up!

Makeover for the Soul | SC Makeup Artist and Photographer

When is the last time you’ve been given the opportunity to get pampered? Was it that anniversary you had 5 years ago? Christmas 3 years ago, or your birthday last year? Or how about you can’t remember because it’s been so long?

Are you a workaholic or a stay-at-home-mom with not even 5 minutes to take care of yourself?

Have you recently hit a “milestone” age and you are fearful of losing your youth?

Do you feel like you’ve let yourself go and you have been trying to find that part of yourself for a long time?

Well, first off, let me say JOIN THE CROWD.

Secondly, I beg you to stop, and change what you don’t like.

Make time for yourself. If you don’t, you’re soon going to wear yourself out and no one will be able to take care of the people you love.

It’s YOUR turn.

It’s amazing how just a little bit of makeup and hairspray can change the entire outlook of a person’s day, and more importantly, their self-esteem.

Isn’t it worth it to your family to recharge yourself? Isn’t it worth it to YOU?
